In these Booking Conditions, ‘you’ and ‘customer’ mean all persons named on the booking. ‘We’, ‘us’, ’our’ and ‘Company’ mean Białowieża Wildlife Services ­– Tomasz Diserens.

1. Payment and booking conditions

  • Bookings require a deposit of 25% of tour price.
  • The deposit is paid using via the payment link sent by email by us.
  • The customer will receive email confirmation of booking from us within 3 days of payment.
  • The customer will receive a payment link for the balance 30 days before the trip’s commencement.
  • The remaining balance is to be paid at the latest 21 days before the trip’s commencement.

A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when we send you a booking confirmation email. It is at this point that a contract between us comes into existence. This contract shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with Polish law.

2. Cancellation costs:

Should you wish to cancel, charges will be imposed. These are calculated from the day written or verbal notification is received by us as a percentage of the total tour price. The cancellation charges are calculated on a sliding scale as follows:

  • Prior to 30 days before the first day of the trip – 25% of the total price of the cost.
  • Between 21-7 days of a trip – 50% of the total cost of the tour.
  • Within 7 days of a trip – 70% of the total cost of the tour.

If the customer wishes to cancel, they may transfer their booking to another person. Once the transferee has paid their deposit and/or balance, we will refund the full paid amount (minus any bank fees).

3. Should the tour be cancelled by us, for whatever reason, we will issue a full refund of the amount paid by the customer.

4. Changes to the tour dates are possible if the company has time available on new dates proposed by the customer. The cancellation costs mentioned in article 2 refer to the first dates agreed upon in the original contract.

5. The company will do its best to show customers wild animals as requested by them, but participants must be aware that animal activity is not 100% predictable and very weather and season dependent.

6. During the tour you must behave in a way that is not disruptive, upsetting or dangerous to you, anyone else or wildlife and you must follow reasonable requests of the tour leader.

7. The company cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items or for personal accident or injury. Customers must accept the hazards involved in visiting remote areas and engaging in potentially dangerous activities. To take part in one our tours, you should be covered by adequate insurance for the duration of the tour and activities undertaken.

8. All tours by the company are protected by the Podlaskie Province (Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Podlaskiego, Departament of Education Sport and Tourism, kancelaria@podlaskie.eu, tel. +48 85 66 54 172, ul. M. Curie-Skłodowskiej 14, 15-097 Białystok) and our tour operator insurance (Signal Iduna Polska TU S.A., ul. Siedmiogrodzka 9, 01-204 Warszawa, Poland.). In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the Province executives will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for any booking.
